What are Reebelo's battery standards?
All smartphones sold on Reebelo come with a battery health of at least 80%. When available, you can upgrade to an Elevated (90%+) or Brand New (100%) battery.
If your device arrives with battery health below the minimum, you’re eligible for a refund or replacement—just submit a Return Claim within 30 days.
If battery health drops by 5% or more during the 12-Month Vendor Warranty, you may request a repair or replacement through a Warranty Claim.
Are all batteries from the original manufacturer (OEM)?
Batteries may not always be from the original manufacturer. All Reebelo vendors are required to run thorough tests to ensure new batteries match the performance and efficiency of OEM batteries. We continuously monitor vendor performance—especially battery quality—to ensure these standards are met.
Why am I seeing an "Unable to Verify Genuine Battery" notification?
If you see this message on your iPhone, there's no need to be alarmed—it doesn’t mean there's anything wrong with your battery. This notification simply indicates that the replacement wasn't performed by Apple or an authorized provider. The battery itself will still be high quality and function just as well. You can learn more about these notifications here.
What's the difference between 80% or 100% battery capacity?
In everyday use, there’s little noticeable difference between 80% and 100% battery capacity. A battery below 100% may require slightly more frequent charging, but performance remains strong until it drops below 80%. Below that point, your device may struggle to hold a full-day charge—which is why Reebelo requires all devices to have at least 80% battery capacity.
If you’re often away from a charger or regularly use power-intensive apps, a brand-new battery with 100% capacity may be a better option.
How do I keep my battery healthy?
Battery health is measured by its capacity and the number of charge cycles it goes through—a full cycle being a complete discharge from 100% to 0%. To extend battery life, try to keep your charge between 20% and 80%, and avoid letting it fully drain or charge too often. Many smartphones now include optimized charging features to help with this.
Fast charging with lightning cables is convenient but can speed up battery wear, so use them only when necessary. Also, avoid exposing your device to high temperatures, as heat can significantly reduce battery lifespan.
