Safety First: If your battery is swollen, stop using it immediately and contact us right away.
Useful Tips:
1. Cool your device:
- Use your phone when the temperature is between 0º and 35ºC (or 32º to 95ºF).
- Store your phone in a place where the temperature is around -20º and 45ºC (-4º to 113ºF).
- Avoid leaving your device in your car when it’s hot outside.
- Don't keep your phone in direct sunlight for too long.
- Avoid using features like GPS, navigation, augmented reality apps, or games in particularly hot conditions or in direct sunlight for long periods.
- Your phone may heat up when certain features and apps are running, but it is normal.
- If your phone overheats, a temperature warning will pop up, and you should stop using it.
2. Check your charger and troubleshoot your device:
- Test your charger, cable, and outlet to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Check that your charging port is clean and free of debris.
- Try a few different outlets if your phone charges very slowly or doesn't charge at all.
- Charge your phone with a working cable, charger, and outlet, and wait for a few minutes to see if the battery icon appears.
3. Update your software:
iOS devices:
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Android devices:
- Go to Settings > System > System update.
4. Restore your device to factory settings:
iOS devices:
- Connect your phone to your computer and open the Finder app (for Mac with macOS Catalina or later) or iTunes app (for Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier, or your device is a different PC). Then, select "Restore" and follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
